Ashfall Chronicles
Ashfall Chronicles is the sort of RPG that respects your time without dumbing itself down. Battles are turn-based and quick, but the party-building underneath is deep. Each companion brings their own skill tree and a personal questline, and ignoring those quests genuinely changes who sticks around by the finale.
Combat uses a simple tap-and-target system with an energy bar for special moves. I liked that positioning matters — put your fragile mage up front and you'll regret it fast. Difficulty scales fairly, and the auto-battle option is there for grinding without ever being forced on you.
The writing is better than it needs to be for a mobile RPG. Dialogue has actual personality, and choices show up later in ways I didn't see coming. If you want a long adventure you can play in bursts, this one earns its place on your home screen.
